salon.shop is a booking and management platform built for full-service salons and nail studios. It covers online booking, stylist profiles, booth rental, commission splits, color formulas, rebooking, and payments — all in one place.
Is salon.shop only for full-service salons, or can nail studios use it too?
Both. salon.shop is built with full-service salons and nail studios in mind, including the Vietnamese-American nail salon market. Services, pricing, and stylist structures are flexible enough for either model.
Can I run booth rental, commission, or both?
Yes. You can set up booth-rental stylists, commission-based stylists, or a hybrid model. Track rent payments, commission percentages, and per-stylist client books independently.
Do stylists get their own profile pages?
Every stylist, colorist, and nail tech gets an SEO-optimized profile with a bio, portfolio, service list, and direct booking link they can share on Instagram or their own site.
How does rebooking work?
salon.shop sends automatic rebooking prompts after appointments and reminders before the next visit, helping keep chairs full and clients on schedule for color touch-ups, fills, and regular services.
Can I store color formulas and client notes?
Yes. Each client record holds visit history, color formulas, allergies, and service notes so stylists and nail techs can pick up right where they left off.
Do I need my own merchant account?
Yes — you'll set up a CardPointe merchant account (we help with that). Funds settle directly to your bank, processing fees are lower, and you aren't at the mercy of a platform sub-merchant.
Does salon.shop take a commission on bookings?
No. You keep 100% of what you collect. salon.shop charges a flat monthly subscription — no commission, no per-stylist fees, no new-client fees.
Can clients book consultations before a service?
Yes. You can require a consultation for color corrections, extensions, or other complex services, and let clients book flash services directly for simpler visits.
Can my clients reschedule or cancel online?
Yes. Clients can manage their own appointments from salon.shop subject to the cancellation window you set for your salon.
Do you support multi-location salons?
Yes. Manage one salon or a chain of locations from a single dashboard, each with its own hours, services, and stylist roster.
What languages does salon.shop support?
The salon.shop customer and owner experience supports multiple languages. Vietnamese is a first-class locale for our nail studio customers.
